Swedish Armour Historical Association

Are you interested in old or new Swedish tanks, armoured cars, APC:s or other armoured vehicles . . ??

then this could be something for YOU !!

The society is a non-profit-making association and have the purpose to promote the interest for, and the knowledge about armour and other military vehicles history, both out of technical, tactical, historical and organisational point of view.
The society was founded in 1974 and have today approx. 500 members.
 

Activities in the society are among others:

• Collecting facts, from misc. archive, interviews.
• Collecting photos, from archives and from private collections.
• Renovating groups, that on some regiments renovate old military vehicles.
• Model building, that builds models for regiments and exhibitions.
• Exhibition group, that take part on regimental shows.
• Magazine, we write our own magazine with four edition per year.
• Local modeling meetings in Malmö and Stockholm.
• SPHF hold the annual general meeting at various regiments in Sweden but occasionally overseas, were we pleasantly, look at armoured vehicles, models, movies and so on.

For membership abroad in the society please pay the annual fee, at present 200 SEK to

The magazine 

• As a member in the society you receives our magazine  four times a year with translation in English, it contains articles about old and new armoured vehicles, modelbuilding and more, you can contribute with articles and photos if you like.
• You may participate in the society activities. And may also have access to our large archives which contains facts, drawings for model builders and with 10 of thus. photos.
